The Mount Vernon Police Association is the exclusive labor bargaining unit for all ranks of the Sworn Members of the Mount Vernon Police Department, from the Probationary Police Officer to the Chief of Police. We are responsible for providing the resources necessary to allow the Member the best conditions possible, so that they may successfully perform their duties, protecting the Citizens of the City of Mount Vernon, NY. The PBA is committed to preserving the health, safety, fair treatment and welfare of all of its members and to continue to encourage and strengthen relationships between it’s members and the community. 

The Mount Vernon Police Association is a non-profit labor organization, and is funded by member’s dues and fundraising activities.
